  • Parts usually come with a manufacturer's warranty - ask the dealer about this as details may vary
  • They have the highest level of training and knowledge, and their labor rates may reflect this

About Brake Rotor Replacement

BulletIcon
Please note: Pricing shown is for either front brakes or rear brakes. Sometimes you feel a vibration while applying the brakes. That’s a sign that you may need to resurface or replace the brake rotors. Resurfacing a brake rotor will extend the life of the rotors by grinding a tiny amount of the metal away, to remove irregularities or other imperfections that have cropped up over time. After a while, the entire brake rotor may need to be replaced if it has become too thin (through repeated grindings) or warped from variations in temperature. Don’t delay, as brakes are one of the most critical safety devices on your vehicle, right up there with seat belts.

Audi Maintenance Pricing & Schedules

The Audi line of automobiles and SUVs is one of the luxury brands that are part of the Volkswagen Group. Through a complicated history of mergers, renamings, acquisitions and more, Auto Union was formed. Acquired by Volkswagen from Daimler-Benz in the 1960s, and merged with others, the present company known as Audi came to exist in 1969.

Today, the company is responsible for worldwide construction of compact, mid-sized and large coupes, roadsters, sedans, and SUVs. Like every vehicle on the road today, they will not last without proper care and maintenance. To that end, Audi has compiled a list of service schedules and maintenance needs to keep your Audi running as new.

Audi Minor and Standard Maintenance Services

Minor Service 10,000 Miles

The guidelines are simple and includes minor service every 10,000 miles that consists of an engine and oil filter change, tire rotation, an inspection of the brake system including brake pad thickness, a check of the tire repair kit, and a multi-point inspection.

Standard Service 20,000 Miles

The Audi Standard Maintenance schedule is conducted every 20,000 miles and consists of all the services in the minor service, and adds a check of the safety belts, convertible roof (if equipped), cooling system, exterior lighting, drivetrain check for leakage, check of suspension components, latches, sunroof, plenum cleaning and other services. The Audi technician wraps up the service by performing a road test.

Extended Warranty and Maintenance Plans

All new Audi vehicles receive a 4-year/50,000-mile basic comprehensive warranty, and a 4-year/50,000-mile powertrain warranty. Corrosion protection is in place for 12 years with unlimited mileage. The company includes roadside assistance for the first four years.

Extended warranties are available that can provide coverage for up to 10 years/120,000 miles, whichever comes first. Offered in three levels, with varying deductibles, the plans offer nationwide service at all Audi dealerships, with 24-hour roadside assistance including battery, flat tire, locksmith and fuel delivery services. The extended warranty also includes towing and rental reimbursement, trip interruption insurance of $200 per day, up to five days, and it is both transferrable and cancelable, with a $50 fee.

Audi Car and Audi Care Select

Audi Care and Audi Care Select are two pre-paid maintenance plans that help to lock in the costs of Audi Service for a mileage range that stretches out to 90,000 miles. Pricing ranges from $699 to $1,179, depending on vehicle model and age, and can be rolled into the actual amount of the vehicle’s monthly payment.

Audi also offers a warranty for its certified pre-owned vehicles. Following a complete inspection, buyers of previously owned Audis are able to extend a comprehensive vehicle warranty for Audi vehicles with remaining time on their original warranty for a total of five years from the original in-service date. Audi cars and SUVs with expired original warranties will receive an additional 12 months warranty with no mileage limitation.
